It’s the ecstasy you feel while riding a bike that commands you
It’s the increased strength and power you feel in Spin class that demands you
It’s the smooth motion of a continuous pedal stroke that hypnotizes you
It’s the rhythmic breathing that keeps you focused and in tune

What can I say?
It’s a spiritual Experience
Those of us that participate in this ritual
Know all too well that it’s indescribable
In order to feel it
You must do it
To really do it
You must live it
And there is nothing else like it

If there are no bikes in heaven
Then I may not want to go

It’s the movement that I crave
And the way my body responds to the Experience
The way the seat feels between my thighs
The way my heart races up on climbs
The endorphins that are set free on a 50 mph descent
The exhaustion that meets me at my garage
When I’m finished
