Sunday's ride was very cool

I rode 35 miles of new road

The decision was made to detour from the original plan

Which was 20 miles straight out and straight back

It wasn't a road untraveled

It was a road once traveled by mistake

I once was lost

Now I'm found

I was blind but now I see

I see that Spanntown Road

Is an almost perfect road

One way is all uphill

One way is all down

I detoured the down road on a whim

And it was a great experience

Almost frightening in fact

The hills were steep with sharp, jagged turns

The daredevil in me said yes

The governor held slightly back

I'm looking forward to our next meeting

Spanntown

Going down

Thinking now that the UP hill challenge

Will be there too
