Sometimes after work I feel
Totally wasted and drained
Dealing with the workforce is
Very hard for me
I don’t, for some reason
Work well with other humans
In a 925 working environment
Perhaps it’s me, and
I’m fine with that
Extreme agenda adaptations
Negative energy flowcharts
Territorial cubical pissings
Wolf pack behaviorisms
Hierarchical achievement
Lunchbowl bloodsport
Office management series one
Has taken on the fax machine aggrandizement
Vista challenged XP but
The professional is still the high achiever
Blow by blow they swindled the rest
On their nationwide conference call outstanding
The email did not show
It was stopped at the Microsoft exchange server
Which eventually rerouted the function
But the recall was successful
My computer took on wings
And suddenly flew through the window
The window however was not open
The persistent error message was enlightening
It was a figment on the mind of my monitor
Which now lay crashed on the floor of my office
Smoke arises from the ashes
The hard drive whines out in agony
IT is at the door
The team lead walks me to the door
I am to return no more
It’s time to leave it all behind
My work day now is done
I’ll ride my bike into the sun
My bike and I are one
