In his skin doing his thing
Living his life and not another’s
Satisfaction guaranteed
When you take your life
In your hands
Just be sure
To wash your hands consistently
To remain free
Of the viruses that are out there
We live amongst the virus
And the viruses
They are many
I take an aspirin
And cover my head
The chronic disease did not discover me
I am so thankful I am blessed
Her virus did not discover me
I do not believe in fairy tales
I do not believe in lies
I am in my skin
And when I die
I will be dead
As with the dead
I will be gone
I occupy my space
Giving room to you
For you
Is not an option
I occupy my time
Surely, I can possibly fit you in
But if the time comes
That you feel like you need to
Disrespect my minutes
It’s time for you to go
Find another space to offend
